Eric plays his last show with Garbage

It’s not just the end of the Not Your Kind Of People tour but also the departure of Eric Avery on bass.

Eric has played with Garbage since the start of the Bleed Like Me tour in 2005 when he took over from Daniel Shulman.

Avery is one of the best bass players on the planet so it’s no shock that Trent Reznor wanted him on the road with him for the new Nine Inch Nails tour.

I was lucky enough to speak with him recently in Boston, when I said it had been an absolute pleasure seeing him perform with Garbage and that I wish him all the best with Nine Inch Nails.

Personally I can’t wait to catch Nine Inch Nails at some European shows when they are announced, they truly are a beast live so make sure you check them out if you can.
