Shirley Manson has been busy again updating her Facebook profile with the following entitled I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I am.

I am getting ready to go out and listening to Them Crooked Vultures and I am sorry but it bears repeating…………..it is FUCKING GREAT.
I am reeled in like a giddy kipper. I found myself pouring over the art work like a lovesick 15 year old………..soaking up every word of the lyrics wondering what they meant…….wanting to live in that world……..a little twisted , a little dangerous, a little romantic……a little dirty.
It makes me think of big arty beasts like David Bowie and The Beatles……..Led Zepplin obviously….but it’s got its own personality and it is hard and shiny and new and if I was a boy, a man, a musician or a mixture of all three I would be sick with jealousy.
This is the kind of record i love…….massive, sprawling, courageous balls to the wall…..
This might be my record of the decade.
Fuck it.
This is my record of the century.
