Confirmed: Absolute Garbage
Set for release on March 19th on Warner Bros.
With 12-million sales since they burst onto the music scene with their self-titled 1995 debut album, Garbage are set to issue their ‘best of’ collection ‘Absolute Garbage’ on March 19th on Warner Bros.
The compilation features Garbage hits such as ‘Stupid Girl’, ‘Why Do You Love Me’, ‘I Think I’m Paranoid’, ‘Push It’ and ‘When I Grow Up’ as well as fan favourites such as ‘Only Happy When It Rains’, ‘Vow’ and ‘Queer’.
The album will be preceded by the release of a new single on March 5th.
Led by the iconic figure of Shirley Manson, Garbage have enjoyed phenomenal success with albums such as ‘Garbage’ (1995), ‘Version 2.0’ (1998), ‘Beautiful Garbage’ (2001) and ‘Bleed Like Me’ (2005).
Garbage have also forged a reputation as one of the strongest live bands around having toured with U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Alanis Morissette to name but a few. Performances at Glastonbury, Reading, Download and T In The Park have also established Garbage as one of the favourites of the UK festival circuit.
