Garbage have been nominated for an MTV European Music Award in the Best World Stage category at this years event in Amsterdam.

They are up against the following acts. Alicia Keys, fun., Green Day, Jason Mraz, Jessie J, Linkin Park, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, No Doubt, Paramore, Rita Ora, Robin Thicke, Snoop Lion, The Black Keys and The Killers.
